First, if you visited SeriousLife Magazine today, and were getting errors and “funny things happening”… it’s because the traffic over from MckMama overwhelmed the site.
I made some adjustments and fixed a few things. I hope you’ll revisit the special Digital Photography issue. You’ll love all the great information to help you take great photos, especially with Christmas just around the corner.
Abby Update
Abby is having complications from her procedures today. She may have aspirated during the spinal tap. It has been three hours and they still can’t get her to wake up.
She will definitely be admitted to the hospital again, maybe to ICU if she doesn’t wake up and improve quickly. She has an ear infection, mouth sores and other chemo side affects going on too.
We appreciate your prayers not only for Abby and us (Brent and Michelle), but for the other kids too who are seeing their Christmas week disintegrate into a “hospital week” pretty rapidly.
I’m getting ready to take Sami and Landis to our dear friends house for the evening so I can get up to the hospital with Michelle.

Merry Christmas!
I bought your digital photo tutorial a few days ago and it hasn’t posted yet. Even though I received a Nikon D3000 for Christmas, and am eager to read your material, I fully realize the enormous stress you and your family are under with Abby’s health concerns. Put my request on the back burner indefinitely if necessary. I pray for Abby often, and trust you will be able to celebrate Christmas (sans pain and ice), soon!
