Brother, why would something so insignificant and meaningless "freak you out"? The Bible has the word Satan in it! Oh no! That must have some hidden meaning! There are evil people who claim to be Christians and kill people... aaaaahhhhhh, that must have some sinister connotation! I saw a Bible with a leather cover and the antichrist will probably wear a leather belt! HOW CONFUSING!!!

C'mon folks... don't let the silliness of ridiculous, meaningless, coincidental and utterly useless trivia have an impact on your faith. I'm a little puzzled that someone who studies diligently and can counter most arguments, is "freaked out" by such silliness. Usually this means the commenter is lying, and is actually just trying to get his little "fact" published on a Christian blog so he can confuse people.

Is that the case here? I don't know, but my experience says "maybe". Anyway, no Christian with even a basic understanding of the Bible is going to fooled or confused or freaked out by that little tidbit of nonsense.

I've had nonbelievers try to trip me up on my faith, but knowing Jesus and diligently studying his word with prayer causes me to bring their arguments to naught.
There's only one thing a muslim brought up that made me think something somewhere is weird. I'll just say what he asked me. "What is satan's/the beast's number?"
              666.
"Okay. Now, how many books does the Bible have?"
          ...66.
     Hmmmmm....
There's something REALLY WEIRD about that, that the number of books in the Bible is (pretty much) the same number as the number of the beast.

I need someone who might know Biblical and Godly principles a little better than me to explain how that can be.
I guess what I need is for someone to prove to me that this is okay. I'm kind of freaking out a little.
