I believe your answer is right on target! We have enough people out there wanting to spoon feed us. We want to learn to be stronger through decision-making and trusting God for our own answers rather than go on someone else's study. Thanks for your honesty, integrity and guiding thoughts for eac... more

I just finished reading today's segment, and wow! I have never read or

readings to my co-workers, so they too might be blessed by word of God. You

Five Christian Goals: Proclaiming Christ (Knowledge)
| Part 5 |
|
(Matthew 16:24) - Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (NKJV; emphasis mine)
We are studying five primary goals of the Christian life, taking each goal in three steps of natural progression: knowledge (head), conviction (heart), and action (hands). All five goals are:
Living Like Christ
Proclaiming Christ
Serving Like Christ
Worshipping Christ
Fellowship in Christ
As we strive for the goal of living like Christ, it comes as a natural second goal that we should then share the knowledge of that life with others. More specifically, we proclaim the source of that life: Christ. | That's just the intro. Read entire devotional here

Five Christian Goals: Living Like Christ (Action)
- Part 4 |
| |
Okay, we've looked at how to gain the knowledge (head) we need to live like Christ, and how that knowledge becomes committed conviction in our life (heart). Let's finish goal number one today by going over some practical action steps (hands). |

Five Christian Goals: Living Like Christ (Conviction)
- Part 3 |
| |
In order to be truly convicted we must also have total trust that God's Word is worthy of supremacy in our life. We all trust something or someone. Most people trust themselves and their own intellect/wisdom/desires. As Christ-followers, we learn to trust God and His Revealed Word as far superior to any alternative. |

Five Christian Goals: Introduction
- Part 1 |

We spend great amounts of time learning to coach sports, learning how to run businesses, how to be personally successful... we should invest equal or greater time in learning the basics of Christian living. |

Pastor Oprah
|
| |
Oprah Winfrey has now put herself into the public arena of religion and has set herself up as an evangelist of the New Age. Therefore, it is time for Christians to stand against her, to quit supporting her in every way including watching her shows and reading her books, and to sternly warn and teach all other Christians about the false religion she now promotes. |
