Hong Kong scientists have DESIGNED a robotic hand that simulates touch and human movement. They DESIGNED it… catch that?
They are just giddy that the “hand” can make a peace sign and “shake” hands. Even still, with a team of scientists spending years DESIGNING it, here’s what they have to say about it:
Professor Liu Yunhui, who led researchers from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, said: “At this moment the function is not perfect and it can’t copy exactly, partly because the robot hand is different from the human hand in terms of the degree of freedom of movement it has.
Sophisticated
“There are also a few errors such as delays in processing and mechanical problems. But in the future it will be possible to produce more sophisticated and more dextrous movements.”

Heck, why bother? Why “DESIGN” anything? Just let random chance and time to do it (aka. “Darwinian evolution”).

Scientists want us to marvel at the DESIGN of their fake hand that can barely do ANYTHING the human hand does and then turn around and swallow their fantasy about how random chance and lots of time will result in the real human hand. According to the mainstream scientific community, the real human hand WAS NOT DESIGNED but it takes our best robotic scientists years to DESIGN a fake one that has about 1/1,000,000th the capability of what evolution evidently can produce WITHOUT A DESIGNER.
So either they are fools for believing Darwinian evolution… or they are fools who can’t even equal the random outcome of time and chance.
You can believe the fantasy of foolishness of “goo to you” evolution if you want… as for me, I choose the more LOGICAL and realistic option (that is supported by irrefutable mountains of evidence unlike Evolution) that I’m the result of a DESIGNER who DESIGNED the DESIGN that you see all around you. Just look down at your hand and try to argue that point.
