One really frustrating thing about life is how unreliable it is… circumstances, friends, family, jobs, the economy, politics… you can’t trust anything to be predictable and consistent (except that everything consistently unpredictable).
Friends abandon, family betrays, the economy tanks, politicians lie, things are great one day and crappy the next. That’s “life”. Totally unreliable. We long for predictability, consistency and trustworthiness but there’s only one place it can be found.
God’s Word is Truth. It never changes. It never bends to culture or majority vote. No matter what the circumstances, the Word of God remains true, steady and unmovable.
It’s a shame so many people have never read it. It’s a shame so many Christian hardly read it.
Think It Over: Most people spend all their time, energy and life on stuff that is unreliable while giving little time and effort to the one thing they can trust. How about you?
